Adhering such a large wall sticker to the wall was a real challenge and it probably took me at least 3 hours. I went with white on a dark background which meant that the sticker came as white on a white backing which made it a bit hard to see the sticker to get an idea of the finished size. It was so large that I had to cut it into a few smaller sections to line up everything well but it looks fine as I was careful. A few tips: prepare the wall sticker in a well-lit area that is not on carpet; don't wear a fuzzy sweater during the adhering stage (!) and pay attention to the numbered pieces and where they join up to be sure to place the pieces correctly because it's very difficult to reposition a large section without tearing the vinyl.
