if you pay attention and have enough room, putting it together is overall pretty simple although the packaging and inventory of the screws could have been much better (that's not a complaint; i chose not to watch the video and am glad there were instructions at all). it isn't too hard for one person to do alone but i'm sure two or more people could do it in a flash. one piece (the spring) will not as-is screw into the hole it is supposed to but i think that is because the screw meant to do this is simply twisted too tightly into in the spring, not leaving it enough screw left to secure into the cat tower. turns out to be the standard size option for those toys which is nice. super tall. little wobbly up top (i have the lower bit held in place with other furniture) but i also can't try using the stabilizing screw because i'm not allowed to put screws in my walls. i recommend.
